Humes’ most recent collections of poetry are Butterfly Effect, published by Milkweed Editions in1998; August Evening with Trumpet was published by the University of Arkansas Press in 2004. His poems have been published in Poetry Northwest, Poetry, Gettysburg Review, Shenandoah, Hampden-Sydney Review, Hollins Critic and elsewhere. He lives with his wife near Kutztown, PA.
