River Poets

Do-it yourself ‘improv’ poetry…sometimes poems start in dreams or there are only fragments of sentences, starting lines, pieces of thought or there are prompts from paintings or photos. Bring a pen, a notebook, and an open mind. We will allow time for your muse to show up and then share the results.

JoAnn Lindsey has been a welcome addition to the River Poets in the past few years. She writes for enjoyment,  has an on-line book of poetry, and also writes children’s poems and short stories.
