THEME: Questioning
Ann E. Michael works as coordinator of the writing center at DeSales University, but her 35-year day job has actually been poetry. She has four chapbooks and a full-length collection, Water-Rites, to her name, as well as a long history of poem and essay publications–in print and online–usually in micro-presses and small magazines. She’s also an avid gardener and armchair philosopher (see her blog at www.annemichael.wordpress.com

Theme: Spectacular serves. [Tennyson anyone?] |
Featured Poets : Tara Holdren & Richard Book
Ardent fans of each other’s work for over 13 years, River Poets Richard and Tara will read in counterpoint, volleying crisp imagery and meaty substance like the pros at Wimbledon. At least you won’t have to wear sunscreen and squint for this match-up! And Tara promises not to make those guttural noises with each serve. As for Richard, we cannot say.
