Jesus Salas-Elorza is a professor of Spanish and Italian at Bloomsburg University. He has published several articles of literary criticism on contemporary Mexican writers. His poetry has appeared in various literary reviews. His most recent publications are nine poems that appeared in circulodepoesia.com a leading electronic literary magazine; recently, he participated as an invited poet in the third Chicago International Festival of Poetry. Dead Poets – the current dead, the once dead, and the future dead poets are welcome this evening a couple days before All Soul’s, All Saints, Halloween, and election day – Bring treats, a poem, or both. Costumes are encouraged, but clothing is mandatory in a public library, currently, and for aesthetic sensibilities.
