 Justin Strawser, Northumberland, an award-winning journalist for the Sunbury Daily Item, has worked in journalism for 16 years. He published his first poetry collection, Those Who Wait, in January. He has been a featured poet at Priestley Chapel in Northumberland, the Pennsylvania Lavender Festival in Milton, and hosts a monthly poetry open mic at Iron Vines Winery in Sunbury.Topic/Theme: Grief or joy, or both. |

Diana is a Williamsport native who’s lived there most of her life, except for intermittent forays like a year in the Bavarian Alps getting to know her mother’s side of the family and two years near Golden Gate Park in The Avenues district of San Francisco. Those were soul searching years, although the search is never ending! She’s thoroughly enjoyed way more formal education than was necessary for the life she’s creating, including a bachelor’s degree in English and German from Lycoming College, a master’s degree in English Literature from Bucknell University and three years teaching composition and literature in the English department of The Ohio State University while in the PhD program there. |
