Bill’s feature: Columbia County’s Earliest Poem. During the Revolutionary War a soldier wrote a short poem/song about the tragic American attack on Quebec. The verse was “collected” by a Danville military leader on the back of a land survey and lay hidden in papers for over 200 years. Now we can sing it together! It is summer that holds nature’s sounds, poetry, and music. We need to support the calm places near water.
Join us for a bit of railroad history, some music and songs and of course, poetry.
Outdoor event, an earlier start 6:30 PM in Kocher Park – a Columbia County gem - just north of the village of Lightstreet along SR 487.
