Harry Humes

THEME: NATURE

Humes’ most recent collections of poetry are Butterfly Effect, published by Milkweed Editions in1998; August Evening with Trumpet was published by the University of Arkansas Press in 2004.  His poems have been published in Poetry Northwest, Poetry, Gettysburg Review, Shenandoah, Hampden-Sydney Review, Hollins Critic and elsewhere.  He lives with his wife near Kutztown, PA. Influences are probably W. B. Yeats, then Frost, and all the other poets he has read over the years.                           MC: Dave Barsky
