Dead Poets Reading – an annual event reflecting on the works of poets who have moved beyond this mortal sphere [there are a lot!].
Of course, we are looking for the unusual or obscure poems, Halloween or spirit-based poems, scary poems, poems with surprise endings, or even traditional poems but from the long or recently dead wordsmiths.
Do some research and dig someone [or two] up.

Summary Statement: Please come explore valuing all members of our community, cultivating connection and creativity in the context of cognitive entropy, and replacing the pressure to remember with the freedom to imagine.
Carrie Vitko is speech-language pathologist living in Bloomsburg who has a passion for helping people of all ages and abilities find a meaningful place in their communities. She’s been a practicing SLP for over 25 years, working in multiple settings – to include but not limited to home health and hospice, early intervention, and long-term care. Carrie’s current full-time work involves supporting the complex communication needs of young children in a rural school setting, but for the last ten years she’s made creative engagement with folks living with dementia and other neurogenic challenges a beloved side quest.
