Feature: T J Swisher

Feature Poet: T J Swisher

Theme: Free Verse from the perspective of how one sees the world around them.  Do you subscribe to the ideology that free verse should be free of any identifiable form / structure / pattern, etc.?

T.J. Swisher is a wife, mother of two, an educator, a volunteer firefighter/EMT, an EMS instructor, lifelong learner, and writer. She is a born-again Christian and loves living her life to show the world the amazing love of Christ. She is someone who goes through life at ninety miles per hour but absorbs it like a sponge, takes those experiences and perspectives, and puts it to ink on the page. Writing poetry is a deep-seated passion for T.J. and has roots back to her elementary days as a sixth grader when poetry was first introduced to her. It was with a single language arts assignment that the seed of a lifelong love of poetry would be planted.
