Ann Keeler Evansis a thealogian by training, a Peacemaker by vocation, and a Poet and Writer by expression. She writes on many different topics but with a central theme: exploring the Joy, Wonder, and Beauty around which and for which we make Peace and Community. Until she went to Antarctica, she had never thought about publishing her poems — but there was something about that place that demanded she try to convey the beauty of even the edges of this still largely wondrous, mysterious, and unknown planet to more people than her small group of friends. My college friend Faye and I set off to see what we could see (in Antarctica), and we were transfixed by what we encountered and thrilled to accompany one another on this great adventure.
